SABEEH – THIS ONES FOR YOU GIRL
July 2nd, 2009Sabeeh has been mentioned on this website before. She is a big inspiration to those of us at JonasHQ.Org. Let me tell you about her. She’s 19 years old. She’s had up to 5 major surgeries in her life. She has to live day to day on a respirator due to muscular dystrophy.
Because of how much we love Sabeeh and feel that she is an inspiration to us, with the help of Ned and Honor Society, we are giving Sabeeh meet and greet passes to Honor Society at her concert in Chicago!
Sabeeh, no one else deserves it girl, not even me.

DANIELLE’S RING
July 2nd, 2009Last night, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas announced that eldest son Kevin Jonas and longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa were engaged.
Seems that the 21-year-old musician pulled out all the stops for his bride-to-be. MTV reports that Kevin helped Jacob & Co., designer Jacob the Jeweler design Danielle’s engagement ring!
The diamond ring is a 3-carat solitaire cushion-cut diamond, surrounded by 210 round brilliant-cut pave diamonds. WOWZA!

SAD NEWS.
July 1st, 2009Kristin will no longer be working at JonasHQ.Org. Things have gotten crazier in her personal life and at work, so she informed me today it wouldn’t be fair to work at JHQ and not update much. She also has to miss out on August 7 & 8 LA concerts due to work circumstances.
It’s a huge promotion at work, and I know that that in real life means more than a fansite, but I will always miss co-owning this site with her. We will talk online and maybe she’ll make mentions on the site from time to time, I am keeping her name registered on our wordpress (news system) but I had to make a mention since she was a major part of the site.
Kristin – if you’re reading this (which I hope you are), I loved doing this site with you. I feel like we balanced eachother out, and it was amazing co-owning the site with you. I’m glad you’re doing the work that you’ve always wanted to do and love your job.
I know we’ll still talk on AIM, but I’ll miss you on here – live coverage, crazy nights, and just being dorks.

KEVIN JONAS ENGAGED

Kevin Jonas surprised his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa by showing up at her doorstep in New Jersey early Wednesday morning and dropping down to his knee to ask her to marry him. Presented with a cushion-cut diamond ring that Jonas designed with Jacob & Co., Deleasa couldn’t believe what was happening.
Then, “She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” the oldest of the Jonas Brothers tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Jonas, 21, and Deleasa, 22, who met in May of 2007 while vacationing with their families in the Bahamas, haven’t set a wedding date yet. “It still feels like a dream,” she tells PEOPLE.
Overnight Flight
When Deleasa, a former hairdresser, first met Jonas two years ago, she admits, “I didn’t know who the Jonas Brothers were.” It was Kevin who eagerly pursued her after meeting her and then spotting her walking on the beach with a flower in her hair.
Jonas popped the question after arriving in New Jersey on an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver. “It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world,” he says.
And while the news is bound to break a lot of young girls’ hearts, the Jonas family couldn’t be happier.
“Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage,” parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. say in a statement to PEOPLE. “Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.”

July 1st, 2009BAD BREAK TURNS INTO THRILL OF LIFETIME
July 1st, 2009The Jonas Brothers may have kept their fans up well past bedtime, but from the screams that greeted the rock sensations Monday at GM Place, no one was complaining.
Lit by pink lights, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas arrived on stage shortly after 9:33 p.m., greeted by the deafening screams of their mostly female, mostly preteen and early teen fanbase.
Their hit song Paranoid was difficult to hear through the screaming, heightened whenever one of the teen idol siblings shook or shimmied.
The show was delayed by about an an hour, apparently because two trucks were held up at the border earlier in the day, slowing the set up of the stage.
But this turned out to be good news for about 150 lucky VIP package holders and contest winners.
Instead of watching a regular soundcheck as planned, they were lead to a smaller room inside GM Place shortly after 5:30 p.m. Inside, microphones and guitars were set up along with chairs and tables for the fans.
A few minutes later an announcement came: Because the main stage wasn’t yet ready, the group would get to hear the Brothers sing a private, acoustic show.
The screams were deafening.
“It’s really exciting,” said nine-year-old Cami Law from Coquitlam.
Minutes later, the three brothers — touring to support their latest album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Central America — walked into the room.
The mostly under-15 crowd let their tonsils explode. Some started to cry.
This reporter was forced to plug her ears, and temporarily worried of a potential stampede of skinny-jeaned tweens.
Unfazed, the Jo Bros welcomed their fans and apologized for the delay. Then they moved into a soft and singsong version of Year 3000, strumming their guitars and smiling those famous smiles.
A chorus of little girl voices sang along. Others stood with their cameras held high, faces stunned.
“This is our first time ever here,” said Kevin Jonas of Vancouver, before opening the floor to questions from the group.
Arms flapped furiously. It seemed everyone had a question. Someone yelled out: “You’re sexy.” Others yelled out “I love you.”
And Taryn Buchannon, 17, asked the teen sensations for a hug.
She got one, and she ended up invited to sing along with them, standing behind Kevin Jonas’s microphone. They moved through the song Lovebug, pausing and encouraging her to chime in. (”It was the greatest thing ever,” Buchannon whispered to The Vancouver Sun, before heading back to her seat.)
Others had questions. Did the brothers ever get each other in trouble? (They do.) What did they like about Vancouver? (”The fans are awesome,” said Kevin.)
Mary Bacchus asked if they would sign the cast on her leg. You bet. The polite teen idols obliged with easy grins. And the brothers, clad in T-shirts and jeans, also doled out hugs.
“I’m glad I broke it now,” the 15-year-old Bacchus said later, eyes watering as her friend Sally Inoue, 14, gasped at the signed cast moments after the Jonas Brothers encounter. “Joe was muscular,” said Bacchus. “I’m like, freaking out. It was like a dream.”
The brothers, who have sold more than eight million albums, ended their preshow with a nice version of their hit, S.O.S., sounding sweet and earnest live. Unplugged.
“We’ll see you guys later on tonight,” said Joe Jonas, as he and his two famous siblings left the room.
Left the screams.
Almost immediately, teens gathered around Bacchus to check out her now-Jonased cast.
“Oh my God, Mary. You are the luckiest girl alive,” said Inoue, as a group of other teens gathered around Bacchus. Some took photographs of the cast.
“They are my life,” said Inoue. “I’m not kidding. They are the only music I listen to.”

If you drove by GM Place and noticed a big mob of people on Monday evening, that was Jonas Brothers fans waiting to get into their concert. The doors were supposed to open at 7 p.m., but they didn’t open until just after 7:30 p.m. Word is that there were some problems with sound and the stage set up.
Lori tells us it was extremely difficult to find parking and then they were all packed close together and waiting to get in. “At this point I am quite annoyed, because I was annoyed by the parking situation and now to get up here and find out that my kids aren’t in the concert yet — I mean I didn’t want to leave my kids hanging out on the street, so I had to go park at Costco to come and be with them.”
She says a number of parents were in the same situation, where they had to park and wait instead of just dropping off their teens like they had planned.

Before I get comments and e-mails saying that I should not post this on the site, I’m going to state this. Yes, this is a Jonas Brothers fan site. Technically that includes FRANKIE JONAS since he is a Jonas brother. We as a site and fan community support the Bonus Jonas, so some news and photos will be posted on here for him.
Tonight he premiered his movie with Noah Cyrus, Ponyo! Taking a break from the tour and traveling, both Frankie and Mrs. Jonas were at the premiere while Mr. Jonas was at the tour. Click below to view the photos and I love the Ghostbusters shirt Frankie!
